Are you fully insured, licensed and bonded? Yes. We are protecting you, our client, and ourselves by having all the insurances required to run a responsible business. This is not a fly by night operation but a family owned business that has a vested interest in providing the best service possible while you, your property and our staff are fully protected. Certificates of insurance are available upon request.
Are your employees subcontractors? No. All of our employees have been hired by us. They have been scrutinized rigorously and have been through thorough background checks. All of our employees are full time and most of them are long term employees.
Do you guarantee your work? We stand behind the quality of our work 100%. We strive for perfection on a daily basis; however, if something has been overlooked, we will make it right for you immediately.
Are you part of a nationwide chain? No, we are locally owned and operated. We also purchase our supplies from local businesses as much as possible.
Can I get a contract where you come out regularly throughout the year for services? We do not have contracts but our clients do call us and set up their appointments well in advance in anticipation of the season. We then give a reminder call as the appointment nears.
Do you offer discounts? We offer $ 10 off for seniors. You can receive $ 10 off for referring a neighbor if houses are done on the same day.
Do you work on Saturdays? What happens if it rains? We do not schedule our Saturdays; however, they are held for our weather contingency dates in the event your appointment is delayed due to inclement weather.
How often and when should my gutters be cleaned? This depends on how heavily wooded your lot is. Some people can get away with one cleaning per year, others need to have it done twice; once in the fall when the leaves are down and again in the spring after the pollen season. Some clients in the uptown area require four cleanings per to keep their systems clear due to the mature and massive trees in that area. People that have our gutter guards on their systems will be able to eliminate at least one of their cleanings on the year. Our system keeps out ALL large debris but small pollen and seeds can get through. The system should be checked at least once per year.
Do I have to be home when you clean my gutters? No. We can do the work without your being there.
Can you leave an invoice for me in my absence? Yes, we will invoice you for a gutter cleaning if you are a new client. The terms on the invoice are 7 days from the date of service or a 10% late fee applies.
Can the gutters get dented or scratched from your ladders? No. We have stabilizer bars on the ends of our ladders, which are rubber tipped and they do not rest on gutters but affix to the roof line.
Do you install gutters? Yes, but small sections only up to 30’ maximum to replace damaged gutters. We do mainly downspout upgrades for maximum performance of your current system. See our products and services page.
How often do most people get their windows washed? Once to twice a year is most common, at least one cleaning done inside and out and then perhaps a follow up later in the year with an out only cleaning. However, if you have dramatic views or have become spoiled by the clarity of your windows, you may want 2 to 3 times per year at least the outside.
When you are coming to clean the windows, do I have to move the furniture out of the way? Do I have to take down the curtains or blinds? You do not need to do anything prior to your crew’s arrival, sit back and relax and let them do all the work. We will take care of moving furniture with care and then replacing everything just as it was. We will work around your curtains and blinds.
My windows have tinting; will your products harm the tint? Our professional window cleaning solution is mild enough to use even on your tinted windows. It is a mild cleaner that is non toxic and nearly odorless.
Do I have to be home the entire time or at all when you are cleaning my windows? No. Many of our repeat clients leave a key for us or are there to let the crew in and then go about their day. We will perform the service and lock up per your instructions. Our clients leave a check on the kitchen counter for services rendered as payment is due upon completion for window jobs.
Do you accept credit cards? No, we do not. We accept personal checks made out to A Brighter Day, Inc.
