Description of Services

Window Cleaning:
        We hand clean all windows with professional window soap and water using a wash pad.  We then use a squeegee to draw off the water and detail the edges of each pane with a towel. 
        We thoroughly clean the frame work of your windows and doors removing all grime such as dirt, cobwebs and dead bugs.  It will look as if you had a new paint job.  If you have screens, we brush these down, too.   
        We will also scrape paint off the glass as needed; however, this service runs additional and needs to be quoted ahead of time. We are  knowledgeable about how to remove the paint without scratching the glass.  Paint scraping is a specialty service which our employees are extensively trained. 

Gutter Cleaning:
          We clear off the roof and hand bag all debris out of gutters.  We do not throw any debris over the side of the house.  We use our own hoses with a high powered nozzle to flush out the gutter system to make sure that it is flowing properly and that the gutter pans are clean even of grit and that the downspouts are not clogged.  If there are any clogs in the downspouts that are above ground, we will take care of the clog (s) as part of our service.
          We blow off your decks, patios, walkways and driveway with our backpack leaf blowers.  We then take away all of our bags to guarantee to be no mess for you.  Most of our clients are not at home for a gutter cleaning service in which case, we will leave an invoice.  You will know that your house has been well taken care of from the tip of your roof to the end of your driveway.
          Gutter cleaning is an important step in yearly maintenance of your home.  You want the system to work as it was designed.  The gutters allow the flow of water to be directed away from the foundation.  It is also important in the warmer months to keep standing water out of your gutters to keep mosquito larvae from breeding in your gutter pans.  Gutters that are left full for too long can get heavy and begin to pull the system away from the house which can cause other problems.

Gutter Repairs: 
         We can perform some gutter repairs.  If the fascia board underneath is in good condition, we can retighten and relevel your gutter system as needed.  If you have gutters that are pulling away from the house, we can add new braces to secure your system to your home.  It is important to keep the gutters securely fastened so that water does not have an opportunity to get behind the gutter where it can damage the fascia board. 

Over Sizing Downspouts: 
         There are times that it is advantageous to oversize some downspouts on your home.  The standard gutter is 5” in width and the downspouts are 2” x 3”.  If you have a problem area on your home, you should consider changing out the downspout(s) and making it oversized so it can accommodate more water flow.  We can change your downspout from a 2 x 3 opening to a 3 x 4 opening.  This means it takes a lot more debris to get stuck inside the downspout before it clogs up.  You don’t have to change out the whole system.   There are also a variety of gutter colors available so that we can get a near perfect color match for your home.  Oversized downspouts can also be used in conjunction with the lock on screens or custom strainers for optimum affect.

Lock On Black Galvanized Steel Gutter Guards:
          Screens are in 4’ sections and come in 5” or 6” width.  They slide under the shingle line and snap onto the edge of the gutter.  Screens are designed to allow more time in between cleanings but does not eliminate the need for cleaning altogether.  
          We make sure your home is a good candidate for having screens.  If your lot has pine trees or trees with very small leaves such as pin oaks, we would just recommend regular cleanings as these screens are not as effective against pine needles or pin oak leaves.   

 Custom Strainers:
          We have developed a hand made custom screen that fits over your downspouts to keep debris from going into the downspout which creates clogs.  If you have an underground system, it is recommended to have strainers over downspouts.  You want to prevent leaves and debris from making it into the underground system as the underground debris can only be gotten out by a plumber with a snake.  If your underground system gets clogged, it can eventually affect the entire system.

Chandelier Cleaning: 
          We start our cleaning process by making sure the fixture is tightly fastened to the ceiling.  We then take our professional cleaning soap and water to hand polish the fixture.  We start with ball and chain at the top of chandelier and then onto the brass/iron, glass and inner workings.  We clean the existing light bulbs or if you like, we will change the set out if you purchase new bulbs in advance.
         
Crystal Chandelier Cleaning:
          We specialize in cleaning crystal chandeliers.  We are very meticulous with cleaning the crystal of the chandelier.  We remove the strands from the frame of the chandelier then hand polish each and every crystal.  We then reassemble the fixture.   This premium service makes the chandelier look better than when it was new.  Having a clean chandelier casts a crisp and bright feel in the room.  

 Ceiling Fans:
          Some ceiling fans are out of your reach, but not ours.  We have a variety of ladders to get to your fans.  We clean and dust the bulbs, blades and the fixture itself.       

Other Interior & Exterior Light Fixtures:
          We can clean any kind of fixture you have whether it is a lamp post at the driveway to New Orleans bevolo gas lamps, to brighten your outside patios and yards, or the hallways and rooms in your house.

Flood Lights:
          We will change out your floodlights with any service, just purchase the bulbs in advance.  We typically do 2 sets for free and then charge $ 5.00 per set after that; however, if your floodlights require the 32ft/40 ft ladder to access them, we then charge $ 10 per set including the first 2 sets.

Chimney Sweeps:
          We can clean open fireplaces with or without gas logs.  If you have a wood stove insert in place we do not provide this service for these.  The service includes complete brushing of the flue and complete cleaning of the smoke chamber and all debris removed from the smoke shelf and fire box. Guaranteed to be no mess.

Chimney Cap Installation:
          We can install any size chimney cap depending on your personal taste and budget.  We have copper and stainless steel chimney caps available in a variety shapes and sizes.       

Dampers: 
         We can install top sealing dampers, replacement damper plates,  handles and smoke guards.  We can also repoint your mortar joints if they have deteriorated.
